
Dr. Marijana Markovikj is a Full Professor at the Institute for Sociological, Political and Juridical Research, where she has worked since 1998.
In 1992, she completed her studies in psychology, and in 2002, she obtained a Master’s degree in psychological sciences from the Institute of Psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje. In 2010, she successfully defended her doctoral thesis in the field of communications. She was promoted to Associate Professor in 2015. Since 2006, she has been one of the founders of the Psychological Laboratory at the Institute for Sociological, Political and Juridical Research.
Her theoretical and research interests lie in the areas of interpersonal communication, communication in cyberspace, and communication within communities. As a result of this interest, she has participated in numerous domestic and international projects, attended national and international conferences, and published papers in domestic and international journals.
