Scientific Research Project: "Denial of the Uniqueness of the Macedonian Language and the Political Legitimacy of the Macedonian Nation as a Form of Political Hate Speech"

Although we live in the 21st century, in the era of human rights and freedoms, the Macedonian question remains the subject of intense political discussions, especially within the European Union. Namely, the uniqueness of the Macedonian language and the political legitimacy of the Macedonian nation are often disputed and denied by certain political elites of some EU member states, as well as by parts of their academic communities.

Balkan Ambitions and Polish Inspiration

Institute for Sociological, Political and Juridical Research University of “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje is the strategic partner within a grant led by the Center for Europe University of Warsaw and Faculty of Law University “St. Kliment Ohridski ”- Bitola (North Macedonia), entitled “Balkan Ambitions and Polish Inspirations”. This is a public task financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland within the grant competition “Public Diplomacy 2022”.

Political-Legal and Cultural Challenges in Dealing with the Pandemic

The project "Political-Legal and Cultural Challenges in Dealing with the Pandemic" is funded by the "Ss. Cyril and Methodius" University in Skopje. Building upon the tradition of the Institute for Sociological, Political, and Juridical Research to investigate current societal phenomena and provide relevant data of interest to both the research community and the broader public, this study focuses on identifying the political-legal and cultural challenges in managing the pandemic.

European Social Survey 10th Wave

The European Social Survey (ESS) is an international research project that examines the values and attitudes of citizens on a wide range of topics relevant to contemporary European societies. Conducted biennially since 2002, the survey includes over 35 European countries. This year, for the first time, the survey is being conducted in the Republic of North Macedonia, funded by the Ministry of Education and Science.

Enhancing and Validating Service-Related Competences in Versatile Learning Environments in Western Balkan Universities (e-VIVA)

The e-VIVA project addresses the development of students' skills, facilitating and validating their competencies in formal and informal learning contexts. It aims to create a blended learning approach to facilitate and validate the development of service-oriented competences in informal learning contexts within higher education institutions and workplace learning environments.

Can Unstable Societies Support Stable States? Cases of Bosnia, Montenegro, Kosovo, and North Macedonia

This project examines whether societies characterized by instability can sustain stable state structures, focusing on the cases of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, and North Macedonia. The research aims to analyze the socio-political dynamics within these countries to understand the factors that contribute to or hinder the development of stable governance despite societal challenges.
