Development of Study Program – Joint Master's Studies in Political Science
(JoPScip - Curriculum Development - Joint MA Program in Political Science - Erasmus + Project)
The JoPScip project represents collaboration in the field of political science among multiple universities, aiming to provide a modernized, internationalized joint master's program in political science. The program is planned to be accredited according to the highest standards of the European Union, accompanied by the exchange and development of good academic practices and intensified communication in teaching and research among partner universities from the European Union, the Western Balkans, and the South Caucasus.
Specifically, the project aims to design an innovative curriculum and management mechanisms for a joint program in political science among countries from the EU's Eastern Partnership, adhering to the Bologna Declaration, EU quality standards, and national quality assurance bodies in the partner countries.
The project would contribute to building appropriate teaching and administrative capacities of the partner higher education institutions, especially regarding multilateral, managerial, and teaching methods for the joint political science program, as well as creating a virtual educational space. The project also aims for joint dissemination activities, joint teaching and examination activities, collaboration in scientific research, and closer alignment with the labor market.
The project has structural implications for partner institutions and national accreditation policies; consequently, the project's management structure ensures the inclusion of all external and internal stakeholders.
Ultimately, the project aims to promote governance, peace, security, development, and active citizenship, while indirectly addressing priorities for digital transformation and sustainable development and jobs through digital literacy and providing European-quality education in political science.
