According to its concept, subject orientation, and approach, the second cycle study program in SOCIOLOGY - Management of Social Change is unique in the Republic of Macedonia. It enables students to acquire in-depth knowledge of sociology in general, with a focus on the sociology of change as a key aspect of contemporary society, the ability to manage social changes, as well as specialized knowledge in the fields of sociology of culture, economic sociology, the socio-political system of Republic of Macedonia, the sociology of ethnic relations, the globalization of culture, the sociology of settlements, and the methodology of social research.

At the same time, the research framework of sociology will be significantly developed, supported by an appropriate theoretical framework, supplemented by research approaches, methods, data processing, and analysis, leading to well-founded conclusions. The compulsory course entitled “Academic Writing” aims to provide students with essential skills, appropriately introducing them to the writing of scientific papers, which are characterized by critical thinking and, of course, originality.
This master's program aims to give students a strong foundation in sociology and related fields such as communication, politics, history, and psychology.

It enables students to understand not just general sociological concepts but also how they apply to real-world situations. The program is designed to respond to current social issues and trends, both locally and globally, and to train students to analyze these issues from various perspectives, including those of government institutions and other organizations.

This program aims to develop students' critical thinking, research, and writing skills in the field of sociology. They will learn to analyze social and cultural issues, conduct research, and write academic papers. The program also emphasizes the history and key figures in sociology and encourages students to connect their studies to contemporary issues in Macedonian society.
