Prof. Dr. Eleonora Serafimovska

Prof. Dr. Eleonora Serafimovska, a Full Professor, was born on July 2, 1971, in Skopje. She has been working at ISPJR since 1996. In 1995, she completed her studies in psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje and obtained a Master’s degree in Psychological Sciences from the same faculty in 2006 (in the field of social/political psychology). In 2010, she defended her doctoral dissertation at ISPJR in the field of communications and audience research.

Prof. Dr. Eleonora Serafimovska’s research interests lie in the field of communications, focusing on mass communication, as well as the intersection of political, social, and media psychology. As a result of her scientific and research interests, she has participated in numerous national and international projects, as well as scientific conferences both in the country and abroad. She is the author of numerous professional and scientific papers published in international journals and/or presented at international conferences.

In 2006, she was one of the founders of the Psychological Laboratory at the postgraduate studies of ISPJR, the first of its kind in the country. Since 2012, she has been a member of the Chamber of Psychologists of the Republic of Macedonia. Prof. Dr. Eleonora Serafimovska is a pioneer in the process of adapting and standardizing psychological tests in the Macedonian language. She believes in and advocates for humane and healthy communication, as well as eco-values in the environment as the foundation of human functioning.
